The Las Veras Community of Goods project, initially piloted by the partners, Ana Belén Pardo Parrondo and Alejandra García-Braga Hidalgo, for the monoculture exploitation of blueberries (Central Blue), with an approximate density of 2,500 plants per hectare (distance between the rows of 3-meter plants and plants within the 1-meter ridges), arose in the winter of 2015 when it was proposed to carry out a new project, on plot 74 of polygon 144, with an area of 1.0844 hectares, adjacent to Finca el Ribeiro, which met a series of conditions and all of them favorable to put it into agricultural production.
It was a risky bet for an extra late variety, but 7 years of experience confirms the correct choice of variety.
We begin the first organic campaign in 2022, with a harvest between the months of September to November.

This jam comes from our blueberries, the fruits are harvested by hand, one by one, at their optimal moment of ripeness. Thanks to the quality of our product and the artisanal elaboration of L’Ayeran we have obtained a jam with a very intense blueberry flavor. It is perfect for breakfast and / or snack; rich toast or delicious fresh cheese, we do it with cream and desserts are delicious. By the beginning of 2024 we will begin to produce our 100% organic jam.
