Finca el Ribeiro, in June 2021, with a strong commitment to sustainability, quality and respect for the environment, has carried out a new plantation. In total, 704 trees of the Haas variety have been planted, grafted on zutano seedlings with Bacon as pollinator in a planting frame of 6×3 meters.
The initiative to introduce this new fruit reflects Finca el Ribeiro’s dual commitment: to promote awareness of the importance of sustainable agriculture and to highlight the potential of the Asturian fertile lowlands by producing high quality avocados.
The avocado, known for its nutritional benefits and growing popularity in gastronomy, has found in Finca el Ribeiro an environment conducive to its development.
