On December 16 took place at the Restaurant La Torre in Pruvia, the Gala Awards Ceremony of Asturian Beans PGI and Verdina de Asturias Marca de Garantía, for the 2017-2018; 2018-2019; 2019-2020 harvests.
Last December 16 took place in the Restaurant La Torre in Pruvia, the Awards Gala of Asturian Faba Asturiana IGP and Verdina de Asturias Marca de Garantía, corresponding to the harvests 2017-2018; 2018-2019; 2019-2020 and that due to the crisis of Covid could not be celebrated in their respective years. The award winners and guests enjoyed a welcome cocktail and subsequent meal by chef Iván Villar and once finished, the Awards Gala was held with the attendance of press and personalities.
With this gala we wanted to recognize the effort made in recent years by all operators (producers and companies) that have made it possible for a half-forgotten sector such as the Faba Asturiana IGP to grow and become a benchmark in the primary sector of our Asturias.
The event was also used as a forum for professionals to meet.
In this Gala was also recognized as the Best Collaborator of the Asturian Faba IGP to the Brotherhood of Friends of the Fabes, for their support in the involvement and gastronomic dissemination work.
And as Best Collaborator of Verdina de Asturias, guarantee brand, to Caja Rural de Asturias, for its support in the creation and development of the brand.
A success of attendance and participation, which highlighted the good moment that this sector is experiencing and the union and commitment of its members.
